Portraying Dubbing Actors

“Faces behind the Voices” highlights a profession in the film industry that often goes unnoticed: dubbing actors. After intensive research, Berlin-based photographer Marco Justus Schöler portrayed Germany’s thirty most familiar voices. The Goethe Media Space will display two of them, combining large-format photographs with German audio samples. Claudia Urbschat-Mingues is the German voice of Angelina Jolie, Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Connely and many others; Tobias Meister covers Kiefer Sutherland, Brad Pitt, Jack Black, and Sean Penn.
