WatCISL congratulates Stephanie Rose Cortinovis for being named a notable woman in CDR

Carbon Removal Canada recognizes a WatCISL researcher, PhD student Stephanie Rose Cortinovis, as one of the women making waves in the carbon removal sphere in their post "Celebrating Six Notable Women in Carbon Removal: 2025"

Stephanie's work was published in Frontiers in Climate earlier this year.

Stephanie is a PhD Student in Global Governance at the Balsillie School of International Affairs. Her research aims to outline the systems of policies and infrastructure that will be necessary to support the development of carbon dioxide removal and direct air carbon capture and storage technologies.
