Neil Craik provides commentary ocean carbon removal before the Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans

On December 5th, 2024, WatCISL member Neil Craik served as a witness during a Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans meeting, contributing to their hearing to examine and report on ocean carbon sequestration and its use in Canada.

Neil Craik is a Professor of Law at the University of Waterloo with appointments to the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development and the Balsillie School of International Affairs, where he teaches and researches in the fields of international and Canadian environmental law.
