Master's Student
Fernanda Breña Ramos is a MES student in Sustainability Management at the University of Waterloo. Her research interests include net zero goals, climate policy, low-carbon transitions and open energy models.
She has a 4-year experience in industry, working as a sustainability analyst and in GHG accounting. Her responsibilities included the implementation of emissions reduction projects and the development of net zero pathways. She also participated in the development of the Mexican Emission Trading System from the private sector perspective.
She graduated with BSc in Engineering Physics with honours at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City where she specialized in the physics of climate change.
