Jason is an associate professor for the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development. His research focuses on innovative strategies designed to reduce the economic impacts of extreme weather and climate change.
Andrea is the research manager for the Climate Risk Research Group and a PhD Candidate in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo. Andrea is a specialist in Geographic Information Systems and has previously worked for municipal, provincial and federal governments as well as the insurance industry. Andrea’s research and work experience are highly interdisciplinary ranging from visualization of flood risk, community-based climate adaptation and flood risk management policy. Andrea’s current research focuses on the role of data governance for improving the effectiveness of flood risk management in Canadian cities. Andrea holds a Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship for her doctoral research.

Truzaar is a doctoral candidate in Sustainability Management at the School of Environment, Enterprise, and Development, working under the supervision of Olaf Weber. His research examines financial system stability in the face of rapid decarbonization policies, to enhance the role of the private sector in mobilizing green financing. Specifically, he is interested in the systemic consequences of decarbonization in asset pricing and portfolio allocation strategies.
Sarah is a Policy Analyst at Public Safety Canada and a graduate of the Master of Public Policy at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. Sarah began her work with the Climate Risk Research Group and the Canadian Coastal Resilience Forum in 2017. Her areas of research interest include flood risk policy and governance, climate change adaptation, community engagement and resilience.

Connor is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo. His research is on quantifying geospatial flood risk, flood risk communication and integrating this information into a risk score for homeowners and other stakeholders in Canada.
Shaieree is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo and the coordinator for the Canadian Coastal Resilience Forum. Shaieree's research is on climate change adaptation and Canadian policies related to disaster recovery, managed retreat and resilience building against hazards.

She was the recipient of the Joseph Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship and the University of Waterloo Presidents Graduate Scholarship for 2020/2021. Sandra's Master's research focused on flood risk governance and Canadian policies related to critical infrastructure and emergency management.
Leah is a Policy Advisor at Public Safety Canada and a graduate of the Master of Sustainability Management at the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development. Leah was the recipient of the Canadian Graduate Scholarship – Master’s Award and the University of Waterloo President's Graduate Scholarship for 2020/2021. Her Master's research focused on flood risk management and the development of policy for managed retreat programs in Canada.
