Abstract:
Terminal chords are special chords in rooted connected chord diagrams that come up in solving Dyson-Schwinger equations in quantum field theory. For the quantum field theory application we would like to have asymptotic information about them. Finding asymptotic information leads to some nice algebraic combinatorics which I will describe.
