Associate Professor
Guillaume Dumas is an Associate Professor of Computational Psychiatry at the Université de Montréal, where he holds the IVADO Chair in Social Neuro-AI and Inter-Personalized Psychiatry. He is an affiliated member of Mila – Quebec AI Institute, and directs the Precision Psychiatry and Social Physiology (PPSP) laboratory at the CHU Sainte-Justine Azrieli Research Centre. His interdisciplinary work draws on complex-systems theory and computational methods to study the embodied, reciprocal nature of human cognition, from inter-brain dynamics during social interaction to cooperative AI for mental health. He is also an international advocate for open science and cognitive liberty.
