Project description
Data is vital for supporting city climate action, but the community of data actors that support it lacks coordination and faces capacity gaps that prevent them from meeting this challenge. The CityClimateData project (CCD) brings together the urban climate data community to explore city climate data challenges and develop practical solutions to better manage and govern data.
About the CityClimateData Project
The CityClimateData project is led by Dr. Christopher Orr, Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management in the Faculty of Environment at the University of Waterloo. For more information, contact Dr. Orr at christopher.orr1@uwaterloo.ca
The CityClimateData project is supported by a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Connection Grant, the Waterloo Institute for Complexity and Innovation, the Balsillie School of International Affairs, and the Future Cities Institute founded by Caivan.
