Associate deans are trying to provide up-to-date information that’s relevant to instructors and those supporting academic activity in the present, extraordinary, circumstances (Arts is credited with drafting much of this text).
I expect to intermittently highlight specific points for instructors and/or advisors to consider in the next while. This email addresses two issues: advice to give students wanting to travel home and students needing AAS accommodations.
In view of the most recent university update regarding Covid-19 (see https://uwaterloo.ca/coronavirus/), instructors will understandably be considering how students can complete sufficient course work and how final grades will be determined this term.
