CPI has created a new partnership with TAURIA, which includes the appointing of the CPI-TAURIA Faculty Fellow in Cybersecurity and Privacy to CPI member Guang Gong, professor in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and member of the Cybersecurity and Privacy Institute. This award recognizes her world leading expertise in standards and applications of lightweight post-quantum cryptography.
This partnership will be for a five year term, and will encompass funding for the CPI–TAURIA Faculty Fellow, our CPI annual conference, communications initiatives, and supporting post-quantum and quantum security research.
TAURIA have increased their research activities with CPI on post-quantum technologies, communications, and security, recognizing the heightened demand given the pace of quantum innovation and need to counteract the risks associated with legacy technologies. This collaboration with Guang Gong, and other CPI members, is expected to support TAURIA’s business activities over the medium term.
