Future undergraduate engineering students are invited to join us for an admissions-focused webinar that will focus on the admissions process and cover topics like how to apply, tips for your Admissions Information Form (AIF), and more!

Our panellists will include our Director/Associate Director of Admissions as well as current students who successfully went through the process themselves.

Waterloo Engineering invites future undergraduate students to join us for an admissions-focused webinar to help determine which engineering program is right for you. The session will feature presentations from current students/program advisors and representatives from our admissions team will also be online to help answer your questions during the live Q&A.

Prospective students from across Canada will have the opportunity to learn more about everything Waterloo has to offer. Representatives from our six faculties, four University Colleges, and many areas of student support services will be on hand to answer questions and share their experiences.

This third and final research-focused webinar considers what our virtual future may look like. We will need to improve productivity with better design and automation, make telecommuting more effective and apply to more job roles, learn new ways of managing a dispersed workforce, all while ensuring we remain connected to and engaged with colleagues, employers, families, and friends.

Autonomous Driving at Intersections: A Critical-Turning-Point Approach for Decision Making.

The Canadian Coastal Resilience Forum and the Interdisciplinary Centre on Climate Change are pleased to present our inaugural documentary screening of the film Anthropocene: The Human Epoch. A cinematic meditation on humanity’s massive reengineering of the planet, ANTHROPOCENE: The Human Epoch is a four years in the making feature documentary film from the multiple-award winning team of Jennifer Baichwal, Nicholas de Pencier and Edward Burtynsky. The film follows the research of an international body of scientists, the Anthropocene Working Group who, after nearly 10 years of research, are arguing that the Holocene Epoch gave way to the Anthropocene Epoch in the mid-twentieth century, because of profound and lasting human changes to the Earth.

Join us at the Social Impact Showcase on December 5th, where we will be celebrating the diversity of our GreenHouse innovators and their journeys in social innovation and entrepreneurship. We will be announcing grants for some early-stage, high-potential ideas, and the Social Impact Fund winners will be sharing their stories.

GreenHouse will be hosting a Health Discovery Lab that will focus on improving the quality of lives of the aging population with health challenges. GreenHouse is a community for innovators who want to create social or environmental change.
