Taking courses at Wilfrid Laurier University

Some courses offered in the University of Waterloo Undergraduate Calendar are taught at Wilfrid Laurier University. These may be identified by a "W" following the course code, for example, BUS 111W and BUS 121W. Students may sign up for these courses on Quest.

Complementary studies electives (CSE)

The only WLU course which is currently allowed as a List-D CSE is the course BUS 111W which is an antirequisite of AFM 131, a course which is listed as an acceptable List-D CSE. The course BUS 121W is not an acceptable CSE.

Cross-registration

While it is possible for students to cross register with a Wilfrid Laurier course (those not listed in the UW Calendar) via a Undergraduate Studies Cross-Registration Form, unfortunately, because it is impossible to avoid examination conflicts and as it is required the the University of Waterloo accommodate such conflicts, any such cross-registration request to take a WLU course during an academic term (2A, 2B, ..., 4B) will be rejected; however, students are still welcome to take courses at WLU during their Co-op Work Terms.
