ECE Undergraduate Office

The ECE Undergraduate Office supports undergraduate students in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering programs beginning from 2A. We also look after undergraduate courses coded as "ECE".

How can you find help?

The ECE Undergraduate Office is here to help you. Please feel free to reach out - if we're not the right people then we will direct you appropriately! We do ask that you do not contact us by multiple means at the same time as it just delays our response times to all students, including you! We understand you want an immediate response, but we want to ensure that we provide timely, accurate answers!

Via in-person drop-in hours

If you prefer to see us in person then we have scheduled drop-in hours when an advisor will be available. We can't advise of wait times as they depend on daily demand. Weekly drop-in hours are as follows:

  • Mondays: 1 pm to 3 pm
  • Tuesdays: 10 am to 12 noon
  • Wednesdays: 1 pm to 3 pm

  • Thursdays: 1 pm to 3 pm

  • Fridays: 10 am to 12 noon

Our office is located on the fourth floor of Engineering 7 at the end of the east side hallway off the lobby/elevator area. Check the board that will indicate the advisor available that day. For in-person meetings, we encourage you to wear a mask (one is available if you don’t have one).

By email

You can contact us by email. We respond to emails during regular business hours on days when the university is open.

Through an online appointment

If you would prefer to have a chat with us, you can book a virtual 15-minute Teams appointment here. To provide consistent support to our student body, we ask that students with a last name beginning with A through M book with Claire Fermin and those students with a last name beginning with N through Z book with Tracey Szarka. However, you are welcome to book with either advisor if the matter is more timely.
