Submit the MASc Thesis Submission Form to the ECE Graduate Studies Office to propose your Examination Committee. The examiners (who are the same as the designated readers) must be approved by the Associate Chair for Graduate Studies.

The MASc Thesis Examination Committee will consist of:

The student’s supervisor(s).
First Examiner. A regular faculty member from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. NOTE: The first examiner serves as the Chair of the Examination Committee.
Second Examiner. An additional examiner whose expertise can support the evaluation of the master's thesis.

Program Requirment Confirmation - This form is only for MASc students who began their program in Fall 2024 or later.

I confirm that I began my MASc program in Fall 2024 or later and am required to complete the MASc Thesis Examination. Students who began prior to Fall 2024 must complete the MASc Seminar instead.

The thesis examination must be scheduled at least 10 business days after submitting the thesis submission form to the ECE Graduate Office.
