MASc Thesis Examination Registration Form

Submit the MASc Thesis Submission Form to the ECE Graduate Studies Office to propose your Examination Committee. The examiners (who are the same as the designated readers) must be approved by the Associate Chair for Graduate Studies.

The MASc Thesis Examination Committee will consist of:

  1. The student’s supervisor(s).
  2. First Examiner. A regular faculty member from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. NOTE: The first examiner serves as the Chair of the Examination Committee.
  3. Second Examiner. An additional examiner whose expertise can support the evaluation of the master's thesis.

Please provide the abstract of your MASc thesis.
Please enter the name of the faculty member serving as your First Examiner.
Please enter the department the First Examiner is affiliated with.
Please enter the name of the faculty member serving as your Second Examiner
Please enter the department the Second Examiner is affiliated with.
Is the Second Examiner an adjunct professor?
The thesis examination must be scheduled at least 10 business days after submitting the thesis submission form to the ECE Graduate Office.
Specify the scheduled start time of the thesis examination. The examination will last 90 minutes.
The Chair, Candidate and at least one supervisor must all be present in person for any hybrid thesis examination arrangement. If any one of these individuals are not able to be physically present, the thesis examination should be held in a remote format with everyone participating remotely.
