Master of Applied Science

A Master of Applied Science (MASc) degree is ideal for recent graduates or professionals seeking to expand their engineering knowledge through advanced study and research in a major field.

Doctor of Philosophy

A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree is ideal for students pursuing a career in fundamental or applied research in academic, government, or corporate environments.

 

Course based graduate programs

Master of Engineering (M.Eng.)

The M.Eng. program provides students advanced professional training through coursework and an optional research based project. This program is ideal for recent graduates or professionals seeking advanced training to strengthen careers in the engineering field. Students may also take an optional Specialization to enhance their area of career interest.

Master of Engineering Co-op (M.Eng. Co-op)

M.Eng. Co-op combines traditional, in-class education with hands-on experience. This allows for the development of key employability and interview skills, exploration of career options and an opportunity to not only make money, but graduate with tangible, workplace experience—giving students a competitive edge in the job market.



Electric Power Programs

We offer three flexible programs for power engineering personnel: The Master of Engineering in Electric Power Engineering (MEng), the Graduate Diploma in Electric Power (G.Dip.), and the Certificate of Completion in Electric Power Engineering (non-degree). These programs provide state-of-the-art training and skill development in the area of Electric Power.

 
 

Scholarships and funding

There are a variety of opportunities to help support you in funding your education. We work closely with our faculties, departments, and external agencies to develop and promote competitive-based awards and scholarships. In addition to minimum funding, where applicable. There are also bursaries available to support students who demonstrate financial need, students with children, and students participating in academic or research travel.
