ECE alumna, Lin Cai, named an IEEE Fellow

ECE alumna, Lin Cai, has been named an IEEE Fellow, being recognized for her contributions to topology control of wireless networks.  Cai received her MASc and PhD degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2002 and 2005, respectively. Since 2005, she has been with the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Victoria, where she is currently a Professor.

The IEEE Grade of Fellow is conferred upon a person with an outstanding record of accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest. The IEEE is the world’s leading professional organization for advancing technology for humanity.
