ECE Professor, Ladan Tahvildari, named new Chair for the IEEE TCSE

Ladan Tahvildari, a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, here at the University of Waterloo, was elected to lead the IEEE Technical Council on Software Engineering (TCSE) for a two-year term.  The IEEE Computer Society is the world’s largest professional organization devoted to computer science and the TCSE is the voice of software engineering within the IEEE and the Computer Society.

Tahvildari is the first woman to hold this position, and just the second chair from Canada to head this council.  Read more from: https://tc.computer.org/tcse/
