Electrical and Computer Engineering professor, Karim S. Karim, has been selected by the Engineering Institute of Canada’s Honours, Awards and Fellowships Committee to be named 2021 EIC Fellow (FEIC) for his “excellence in engineering and services to the profession and to society”.
The Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC) is a federation of engineering societies based in Canada, covering a broad range of engineering branches, and with a history going back to 1887.First known as the Canadian Society of Civil Engineers, it became the first national professional engineering society in Canada. There are now 14 constituent societies that are part of the EIC federation, to whose societies belong over 30,000 Canadian engineers.
