ECE Professor Liang-Liang Xie has been named newly elevated IEEE Fellow for his contributions to fundamental limits of feedback control systems and wireless networks.

One of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering researchers from Waterloo receives JELF grant from CFI to help cover infrastructure costs to support their cutting-edge research. Those researchers, their projects and funding included in today's announcement are:
Ming Yu, an electrical and computer engineering professor, has been elected a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, recognized for his outstanding abilities.
