Biography Summary

Oleg Michailovich is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo.

His research interests include inverse problems in signal and image processing, approximation theory and its applications, image restoration and tracking in medical imaging, analysis and estimation of dynamic systems, multisensor information fusion, and application of the methods of differential geometry to image processing.

Professor Michailovich has written dozens of conference, journal and informal publications through organizations and conferences such as the Computing Research Repository (CoRR), IEEE, International Conference on Image Analysis and Recognition, and International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging. Additionally, he has a patent for his research in Wavelet depulsing of ultrasound sequences.
