Public Health and Climate Change

Climate change is often viewed through environmental and economic lenses, but its profound effects on human health are often overlooked. Congratulations to Tara Chen , PhD Candidate and Climate-Health Fellow, who received the Early Career Excellence Award from ASPHER at their Deans’ and Directors’ Retreat in Portugal.  Discover more about Tara's significant contributions to integrating climate-health competencies into public health education and her perspectives on the future of public health shared at the "Next Generation" Panel in Porto.

In 2020, Wellbeing, Space and Society was launched by Susan Elliott and Jamie Pearce to provide a platform for groundbreaking research on wellbeing. The journal recently reached a major milestone, earning its first Impact Factor of 2.4 and securing strong rankings in both the Public Health and Geography categories.
