The Austrian Cultural Forum offers a free virtual reading in German about the famous Austrian actress and writer of the fin de siècle Vienna, Lina Loos (1882–1950).

autobiographic
texts,
Rossbacher
creates
a
unique
and
insightful
literary
encounter
with
Lina
Loos
and
her
world.

wife
of
Adolf

Franz

Peter
Altenberg‘s
hymnically
adored
one,
muse
and
most
beautiful
woman
in
Vienna:
Behind
all

labels
stands
an
actress,
columnist

unconventional
woman

always
insisted
on
following
her
own
path
-
with
wit,
keen
observation
and
a
strong
personal
opinion.
In
addition
to
her
work
at
renowned
theatres
(Vienna,
Berlin,
New
York...),
Lina
Loos
wrote
poems
and
plays
and
published
feuilletons
in
Viennese
newspapers
and
magazines
from
1904
on
for
over
thirty
years.
A
selection
of
these
was
first
published
in
book
form
in
1947
("Das
Buch
ohne
Titel").
Bettina
Rossbacher
is
a
professional
public
speaker,
reciter
and
designer
of
literary
programmes
from
Austria.
Since
2008
she
has
been
presenting
a
variety
of
literary
readings at
renowned
Austrian
venues
(e.g.
Austrian
Society
for
Literature
Vienna,
Austrian
Academy
of
Sciences,
Jewish
Museum
Vienna,
Belvedere,
Albertina).
Rossbacher
also
works
as
a
narrator
of
audiobooks
and
podcasts
as
well
as
an
OFF
voice
&
event
host
and
as
a
coach
for
speaking
and
presentation
techniques.
