Undergraduate students in German Studies are invited to submit a proposal for the fifth undergraduate colloquium in German Studies.
Any undergraduate student who has written or is working on a paper on the German language, German-speaking literature, culture, or film, or teaching German as a foreign language, is encouraged to apply.
It's an opportunity to share your thoughts on topics in German Studies with other students and scholars outside of the classroom. Your paper could be interesting to other students and professionals in German Studies.
The deadline for submissions in 30 April 2016. Papers on any aspect of German Studies (language, literature, culture, film, and language education) are welcome. Please submit an electronic copy of your proposal (in English or German, max. 300 words, double-spaced, including works cited) to german.undergrad@utoronto.ca. The subject line of the e-mail must read Undergraduate Colloquium in German Studies proposal (or UCGS proposal). The text body of the message should contain your name, affiliation, and paper title. The proposal should be an attached file (word or pdf), and it must not include your name and/or affiliation.
The colloquium will take place in Toronto on 24 September 2016.
