The Nanobiosensors Laboratory specializes in using DNA for analytical chemistry. Our specialized service includes Aptamer SELEX: selection of DNA aptamers for binding to a specific target.

We ask GWFO facility users (i.e., if a request is fulfilled) to acknowledge in any outputs (e.g., reports, theses, publications) the use of our facilities with an acknowledgement statement following this format: "We acknowledge that the lab analyses were carried out at the facilities of the Global Water Futures Observatories (GWFO) program at the University of Waterloo"
