Subject: All campus locations to close at 6 p.m

All campuses to close at 6 p.m. today

March 3, 2023

Due to forecasted significant snowfall after 6 p.m., all University of Waterloo campuses will close today after 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Saturday.

  • Normal University operations and mid-term exams scheduled to end at or before 6 p.m. will continue today as planned.
  • Remote exams taking place after 6 p.m. will continue as planned.
  • In-person mid-terms scheduled after 6 p.m. will be rescheduled.
  • Students working in labs are expected to leave the campus by 6 p.m.

We expect the University will operate normally on Saturday, though conditions may well be difficult as grounds teams continue their snow clearance work. Please take extra care when travelling outside in slippery conditions.

Information on University operations in severe weather is available on our website
