Hello,

Share your research for a chance to win up to $750 in our upcoming GRADflix competition!

GRADflix is a research communication opportunity for graduate students in research-based programs hosted by Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA). Students are encouraged to participate no matter where they are in the research process (e.g., still defining research questions or your proposal, doing data collection, about to defend). Previous winners have been at various stages in their degree.

Participants create a video, moving slide show, or animation of no longer than 60 seconds (one minute) in length that describes their research. Finalist videos are then highlighted at our GRADflix showcase taking place February 6, 2024 at Federation Hall. All friends, family and Waterloo community members are welcome to attend this showcase.

There is still time to register for the 2024 season! Recordings of our information and training sessions are now available on our website alongside other resources to help you make your video. Want to see what previous students have done? Check out last year’s GRADflix finalist videos on our YouTube channel.

Here are some important dates for the 2024 GRADflix season:

We look forward to seeing all the amazing and creative submissions!

Please let me know if you have any questions.
