Join us for day one of the 2023 GRADventure Professional Skills Conference!
This annual conference is designed to help better prepare graduate students and postdocs for professional roles both within and outside of academia. UWaterloo staff and external speakers will host workshops and presentations on relevant topics from their areas of expertise. They will emphasize skills to help you succeed during your time at Waterloo, and beyond, in your future career.
This year's conference will take place over two days, on April 11 and April 12, 2023. Day one consists of virtual sessions, on the topics of intercultural communication, setting personal and professional boundaries, and networking throughout your career. Register for the virtual sessions to attend day one of the conference. You are welcome to attend all sessions or only the ones that fit with your schedule.
Learn more about day two of the conference if you are interested in registering for the in-person sessions and attending the networking lunch.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
