- the event will be recorded and will be available for viewing by early July 2020
What will happen during the event?
- brief speeches by University of Waterloo senior leaders, including:

- celebrating each student's accomplishment (each AD will read student's name, and thesis title will be displayed)
- speech by Harrison Oakes, Governor General’s Gold Medal winner
- slide shows of photos submitted by doctoral students and supervisors
Please note that only those who will be speaking will be on camera; the remaining of the participants will not be called upon to speak or be seen via a camera.
