When Canada’s most innovative university and North America’s largest urban innovation hub share a passion for solving big problems – the sky’s the limit for new solutions.
On April 21st, from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., the University of Waterloo, in partnership with MaRS, will bring together some of the world’s leading experts on sustainable aeronautics, electric vehicles, autonomous technologies, clean energy, and urban planning to reimagine the future of local and global transportation.
Meet the innovators – researchers, engineers, and entrepreneurs behind the latest transportation technologies designed to deliver more sustainable journeys from A to B.
Our own Jeff Casello, Associate Vice- President, Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs will be speaking at this event.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
