Professor Ian Milligan's book, Rebel Youth: 1960s Labour Unrest, Young Workers, and New Leftists in English Canada (UBC Press, 2014) is one of five scholarly works shortlisted for the the 2015 Sir John A. Macdonald Prize.
The Sir John A. Macdonald Prize is attributed annually to the best scholarly book in Canadian history, selected by the Canadian Historical Association. The winner will be announced on 2 June, and the prize presented at the yearly Governor General Awards for Excellence in Teaching Canadian History at Rideau Hall in Ottawa.
