Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a multi-disciplinary tool that is widely used across the architecture industry. Attend this 15-minute Speed Run Session to participate in a live-action tour through ESRI’s ArcGIS Pro software. This presentation and question & answer session will teach you where geoprocessing tools are stored, how to connect to different types of data sources, and a few extra tips and tricks.

By the end of this workshop, participants will understand:

  • How to navigate within ESRI ArcGIS Pro software
  • Where geoprocessing tools are located
  • How to connect to different types of data sources

The GIS Speed Run Sessions are drop-in sessions open to all architecture students; come with an interest in learning more about GIS!

If you have accommodation requests or questions, reach out to Katie Brightwell (kbrightwell@uwaterloo.ca) with your needs.
