To introduce considerations of equity, diversity and inclusivity in curricular and co-curricular offerings, many instructors and staff facilitators are looking for resources on inclusive instruction and inclusivity-informed practices – either for their own professional learning or to share and use with their students.
In the last three years, several excellent OER that focus on inclusivity, in a broad sense, were developed by Canadian institutions, including Waterloo. In this 15-minute resource demonstration session, we will highlight some OER that have been developed with a focus on Indigenization, intercultural considerations, anti-racism, mental health and wellbeing, and equity-minded teaching.
This resource will then be available through the Open Scholarship Committee website for instructor and facilitator use.
Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be provided.
