Are you planning to publish a systematic review? Or considering incorporating a scoping review in your thesis? The Systematic and Scopus Review Workshop series will provide you with foundational knowledge to help prepare and plan the methodologies used in these types of knowledge synthesis projects.
In this second workshop, you will learn how to search health literature for a systematic or scoping review. This workshop outlines the expectations of a “systematic” search and provides hands-on experience in building a rigorous and reproducible search strategy in PubMed.
By the end of this workshop, you will:
- Understand the characteristics of a “systematic” search
- Learn strategies to build, organize and construct a comprehensive search strategy
- Become knowledgeable in advanced PubMed search techniques including truncation, field codes, Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) and more
This is the second of three workshops the Library is hosting this term on systematic and scoping reviews. Join us for one, two or all three workshops to confidently take on your upcoming knowledge synthesis projects. Please register for each workshop separately.
