Diversity, accessibility, and equity are more than buzzwords: as public institutions, they should be the cornerstones of all that we do. This year, the theme for Scholars Portal Day is Investing in Inclusiveness. Join the conversation about how we can sustainably design and build our services, collections, and spaces, both digital and in-person, with inclusion at the core.
The day will include updates about OCUL and Scholars Portal projects, featured panel “Welcoming the whole academic community into the library”, and lightning talks about projects and initiatives at different OCUL institutions.
Participants are encouraged to submit questions using the chat feature in Zoom and tweet using the hashtag #spday18. Graham Yeates in Library Office is happy to help if you wish to submit a question but are not familiar with the chat in Zoom.
Shared session notes will be posted to the Scholars Portal wiki throughout the day.
Staff are welcome to drop in and out throughout the day, depending on the sessions of interest. Recordings and slides from the sessions will also be posted after the event. Follow along with the livestream.
