Alison Hitchens, Associate University Librarian for Collections, Technology, Scholarly Communication, has been elected to the Ex Libris users of North America (ELUNA) Steering Committee, for a three-year term beginning May 3, 2019.
ELUNA is the international user community for Ex Libris customers in the Americas. It is the voice and advocate for institutional needs, and facilitates participation in many customer-driven initiatives geared toward improving products and services.
University Librarian Beth Namachchivaya explained that "Alison will represent University of Waterloo Library, the Tri-University Group (TUG), and Ontario Council of University Libraries Collaborative Futures (OCUL-CF) perspectives on the use of Ex Libris systems and services, which will be important as we move forward to implement new Ex Libris systems in an expanded consortial environment."
