Amir Khajepour is a professor and Canada Research Chair in mechatronic vehicle systems in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo in Canada. He is an expert in systems modelling and control of dynamic systems and has developed an extensive research program in several key multidisciplinary areas. His research has resulted in several patents, technology transfers, over 320 journal and conference publications plus five books and seven book chapters. He is a recipient of the Engineering Medal from the Professional Engineering Ontario, three best paper awards, is a fellow of the American and Canadian Society of Mechanical Engineering, and is an associate editor of the International Journal of Vehicle Autonomous Systems and International Journal of Powertrains.
