Dr. McIntyre-Smith is a psychologist in private practice in Toronto working with adults with mood and anxiety presentations, as well as first responders and military personnel and veterans with operational stress injuries. She completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University and her Ph.D. at Western University. She has been supervising graduate students, residents, and psychologists in supervised practice since 2011. Her clinical approach is largely CBT-based with interests in third-wave interventions and interpersonal process in treatment. Supervision interests are similar, focused on therapeutic process, application of third-wave interventions, and professional development. Research projects have included the impact of operational stress injuries on sexual function, and development of a moral injury measure to assist with assessment and treatment of service members.
