Clinical Adjunct
Dr. Shannon Gifford works at Breakwater Institute for Occupational Stress and Trauma, a private practice specializing in the assessment and treatment of first responders and currently serving and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces. She formerly worked for many years at the Parkwood Institute Operational Stress Injury (OSI) Clinic in London, Ontario. She has been a clinical adjunct faculty member at the University of Waterloo since 2008, having escaped the clutches of the program for a full three years after earning her Ph.D. there in 2005.
