Dr. Kristy Boughton is a clinical psychologist who is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Dr. Boughton received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Guelph in 2017. She completed her residency Hamilton Health Sciences and has also received training at the Centre for Psychological Services at the University of Guelph, The Waterloo Region District School Board, and Lutherwood Mental Health Services.

Dr. Boughton works in private practice at Kitchener Psychology Centre providing assessment, treatment, and consultation to children, adolescents, and adults. She also provides training and supervision for senior graduate students and psychologists in their year of supervised practice. Dr. Boughton works with individuals experiencing a of learning, behavioural, neuro-developmental, and social-emotional concerns and is dedicated to providing assessment and intervention that is focused on the unique needs of each client. She uses approaches and techniques from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Emotion Focused Family Therapy.
