Clinical psychology graduate students from the Clinical Psychology Department and the Centre for Mental Health Research and Treatment at the University of Waterloo participated in the UW 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign this past November.
Olivia Merritt, Julia McNeil, Shirley Ong, and Jessica Edwards presented a workshop to the University of Waterloo community on the Predictors of Happy, Healthy Relationships. The talk addressed topics including a review of the research on the links between a satisfying romantic relationship and overall quality of life, and key ingredients to healthy partnerships. Tips and strategies for maintaining fulfilling relationships were discussed.
