The PAC-SMH has been working towards getting the final report to the President on January 15, 2018. The PAC-SMH determined that an extension is needed to properly distil the nearly 140 recommendations brought to us by our supporting panels. We recognized that we need to:
- Provide good rationales for inclusion and exclusion of any recommendations;
- Make sure that the statements were actionable, and;
- Ensure that priorities for recommendations are communicated in the report.
To permit for these additional revisions, we have been granted an extension to February 16, 2018. With this extension, the PAC-SMH will be able to stand behind each of the recommendations put forward with confidence.
