Parking (for media)

Parking passes are available for members of the media who come to the Waterloo campus for events or to interview faculty or staff. While we cannot reserve spaces, the passes allow members of the media to park a vehicle for free in several designated spots across campus. 

  1. Jan. 16, 2018Math can predict how cancer cells evolve

    Applied mathematics can be a powerful tool in helping predict the genesis and evolution of different types of cancers, a study from the University of Waterloo has found.

    The study used a form of mathematical analysis called evolutionary dynamics to look at how malignant mutations evolve in both stem and non-stem cells in colorectal and intestinal cancers.

    Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently announced that Ottawa is preparing to relax carbon-pricing measures to aid industry competitiveness.
     
    University of Waterloo professor Jatin Nathwani, Ontario Research Chair in Public Policy for Sustainable Energy and Executive Director of the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy (WISE) is available to talk on the subject.
