George Dumitru

Hello, my name is George Dumitru, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Feminist Philosophy at the University of Waterloo. I have completed a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science, with a minor in Philosophy, from the University of Guelph. My research interests focus on feminist epistemology, philosophy of science, and the intersection of race, gender, and social justice. Specifically, I aim to critically examine how biases in scientific research impact marginalized communities, and how these biases shape our understanding of knowledge and justice.

Throughout my academic journey, I have been greatly influenced by the work of scholars such as Maya Goldenberg, Deirdre McCorkindale, and Rhonda George, whose research has deepened my understanding of these critical issues. I highly recommend exploring their work for anyone interested in feminist philosophy, social justice, and the intersectionality of race, gender, and science.

Feel free to reach out to me for discussions on feminist philosophy, science, and social justice.
