We are happy to announce a new and exciting publication on Animals and Business Ethics, and featuring the article "Are Animals Always Commodified in the Context of Business?" by Dr. Katy Fulfer. It asks the question — When is it ethically acceptable to use animals for profit?  And discusses the morally problematic commodification of non-human animals. The book is edited by University of Waterloo Philosophy alumnus Natalie Thomas an adjunct faculty member in the Philosophy department at the University of Guelph, and a Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics. She is the author of Animal Ethics and the Autonomous Animal Self  (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016)This new publication also features a chapter co-authored by Patrick Clipsham another alumnus of the University of Waterloo Philosophy program. Patrick is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Winona State University in Winona, MN. Congratulations go out to Katy Fulfer on this achievement and to our accomplished alumni Natalie Thomas and Patrick Clipsham.
