Content & Scope
The University provides income continuance benefits for employees requiring short-term or long-term absences from work due to illness or injury.
The records include attending physicians' forms; test results, consultants' reports, and other supporting medical documentation; modified return-to-work plans; copies of Workplace Safety and Insurance claim documentation; notes; and related correspondence.

Retention Rationale
The retention period is based on the absence of a time limit for filing an occupational disease claim with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
