Content & Scope
The University provides income continuance benefits for employees requiring short-term or long-term absences from work due to illness or injury.
The records include attending physicians' forms; test results, consultants' reports, and other supporting medical documentation; modified return-to-work plans; copies of Workplace Safety and Insurance claim documentation; notes; and related correspondence.

Until the earlier of 5 years after the person's death or the year following that in which the person reached or would have reached 90 years of age.

The retention period is based on the absence of a time limit for filing an occupational disease claim with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
