Want to read more but struggling to find the motivation? Then our Renison Book Chat is for you! Renison Book Chat is a literature club where we will meet to talk about short stories, novels, and graphic novels that share a similar theme. This term, we will be talking about stories of the strange and fantastical, with a curated selection of books for you to choose from. Meet fellow book lovers and enjoy some lively conversation. All are welcome!

Make academic success one of your New Year's resolutions and join us for our "New Year, New Term, New Start" Workshop. In this workshop, we will set goals for our academic success and learn strategies for staying organized, managing time well, and studying effectively.

What can you expect?

• Learn tips for staying on top of your assignments and finding time in your schedule to study
• Find a way to create a schedule that you can actually stick to
• Identify resources and supports available to help you succeed!

Attending this workshop counts as a stamp towards the Renison Stamp Rally Challenge. Pick up your stamp card from Moose Tracks before the event.

Toronto is one of Canada's largest cities! With lots of fun attractions and delicious food, there are no limits to what you can do! Join your peer leaders for a day of exploring and enjoying this city!

What can you expect?

• Bus transportation from Renison to Toronto (and back!) for just $35 + tax!
• A chance to freely explore Toronto for the day

Register in advance using Renison's Online Events Portal.

Mandatory check-in meetings will be held between Monday, January 20 and Friday, January 24. BASE students will be having 1-on-1 meetings, while EFAS will likely be a group meeting during their morning workshop time on Wednesday, January 22.

What can you expect?

• A 15-minute meeting with your peer leaders or AJ, or a meeting in small groups hosted by your peer leaders, AJ, and the SEAH team!
• Share your experiences, ask for help, or just chat about the term!
• A great chance to share feedback, find helpful resources, and feel connected.

• Crayons, markers, and pencil crayons are provided!
• Fun questions to answer as a group to get the conversation flowing!

Want to gain some Canadian volunteer experience to enhance your resume? Join the ELI Student Leadership Team and work with your classmates to plan and facilitate a fun event for the Renison community!

What can you expect?

• Attend regular meetings throughout the Winter term
• Learn about different leadership skills each week, like teamwork and communication!
• Host an event 100% planned and created by the students, for the students!
