Renison is excited to hire international students for part-time job opportunities at the Moose Tracks Connection Desk and the Lusi Wong Library this Spring! 

Renison is currently hiring students through the University of Waterloo's International work-study program. The international work-study program is designed to provide part-time on-campus work experience for full-time international undergraduate students with financial need.

What is the Connection Desk Assistant position?

Renison University College proudly offers the Moose Tracks Connection Desk – a front desk to support students. This service will be staffed by student leaders to provide front-line support specifically to Renison and University of Waterloo students.

We are hiring 4 students in the role of Connection Desk Assistant for the Spring 2023 term. The Connection Desk Assistant will work a rotating schedule with other staff between the hours of 9:00am to 7:00pm Monday to Friday. The Connection Desk Assistants will assist in the coordination of front-line customer service for student inquiries, as well as supporting the Renison Student Experience and Housing team with projects related to administrative support. This role requires excellent customer service and communication skills, and a sincere desire to help others.

What is the Student Library Assistant position?

Renison's Lusi Wong Library offers support for students with their study needs. We are hiring 2 students in the role of Student Library Assistant. The position provides library supervision and support for one 4-hour evening shift and one 3-hour lunch shift weekly. Responsibilities include shelving books, shelf-reading assigned sections, checking out materials at circulation, and helping students with their printing. The assistants also assist students with research using library resources/catalogue, and answering questions about the campus and buildings.
