Over the past 10 months, I had the opportunity to complete my social work placement at Renison University College as Inclusion Coordinator. In this role, I was given the freedom to shape the placement to my learning needs. Renison supported me as much as I supported Renison. This supportive environment set the stage for my future career endeavours.

Students know that Renison University College is a great place to belong, but now, this sentiment is being recognized across the country.

Renison values collaboration and diverse perspectives. The college intentionally recruited two placement students who could bring meaningful change and connection through their lived experiences and skill sets. I am incredibly grateful to work alongside my classmate and colleague, Summer Wu. Together, we’ve accomplished a great deal and learned so much from one another.

The University of Waterloo is celebrating Consent Week this week from September 16 to 20 and we are delighted to announce Renison’s involvement with the Moose Hide Campaign!

"Growth, Experience, and People” – the three words past General English at Renison student June (Jiwoon) Kang uses to describe her time at Waterloo and Renison University College.

On Friday, March 31, Renison’s Student Experience and Housing team celebrated its residents, dons, and peer leaders at Wind Out, an annual end-of-term celebration hosted at Fed Hall. Close to 100 students, staff, and Renison community members came together for an exciting night of awards, dancing, and good food.
