Drop-in sessions with CIHR Project Grant reviewers

Faculty and research staff are invited to attend a CIHR drop-in session throughout January where CIHR Project Grant reviewers and Office of Research staff will be available to answer questions about preparing an effective CIHR application. The drop-in sessions and reviewers are outlined below:

Thursday, January 23, 10 - 11:30 a.m, AHS, Room 2677

At this drop-in session, CIHR reviewers Professor Carrie McAiney, School of Public Health and Health Systems, and Professor David Rose, Biology, will be available to answer questions. Professor McAiney reviewed applications for the 2019 Project Grant Health Services Evaluation and Interventions Research committee and Professor Rose reviews Project Grants for the Biochemistry Molecular Biology committee and serves as the University's CIHR delegate.

Friday, January 24, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., Pharmacy, Room 2024

At this drop-in session, CIHR reviewer Professor William W.L. Wong, School of Pharmacy, will be available to answer questions. Professor Wong reviewed for the Spring 2019 Project Grant Health Policy & Systems Management Research committee and holds an active Project Grant.

Monday, January 27, 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m., Biology 1, Room 266

At this drop-in session, CIHR reviewer Professor David Rose, Biology, will be available to answer questions. Professor Rose reviews Project Grants for the Biochemistry Molecular Biology committee and serves as the University's CIHR delegate.

Monday, January 27, 2 - 3:30 p.m., AHS, Room 2677

At this drop-in session, CIHR reviewers Professor Heather Keller, Kinesiology and Professor David Rose, Biology, will be available to answer questions. Professor Keller reviewed applications for the 2018 Project Grant Randomized Control Trial committee and earlier knowledge translation competitions. Professor Rose reviews Project Grants for the Biochemistry Molecular Biology committee and serves as the University's CIHR delegate.

Friday, January 31, 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m., E5, Room 5128

At this drop-in session, CIHR reviewer Professor Alfred Yu, Electrical and Computer Engineering, will be available to answer questions. Professor Yu holds an active CIHR project grant, and reviewed Spring and Fall 2019 Project Grants with the Biomedical Engineering committee along with musculoskeletal health catalysts grants.
