Accessing national health statistics to improve health outcomes

You’re invited to the health data seminar on October 26 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. to learn about opportunities to improve your access to health data. Dr. Jeff Latimer, the director of the Health Statistics Branch at Statistics Canada (StatCan), will break down how to engage and collaborate with StatCan to get access to their timely and relevant data on the health of Canadians.

Antagonism and Intimidation in Academia Speaker Series 2.0

This panel focuses on issues relating to free speech, hate speech laws, and freedom of expression in and beyond university environments. It brings significant attention to the wealth and poverty of free speech, to university conduct under the rubric of expanding freedom of expression, and to matters concerning the banning of symbols, emblems, flags, uniforms, and insignia under hate speech laws.
